Ngorongoro Farm House Karatu Tanzania is a small and exclusive hotel situated on a 500-acre coffee plantation, 4 km from Ngorongoro Lolduare gate. The hotel is 150 km, approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes from Arusha by road while flights take approximately 25 minutes.

Ngorongoro Farm House is the perfect stop-over between safaris as it’s located just 4km from the entrance to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. There is also a fantastic opportunity to visit the Hazabe and Datoga tribes in the lake Eyasi region.

Ngorongoro Farm House Karatu Tanzania offers accommodation for approximately 100 guests in 52 chalet-type rooms (49 are standard-type rooms and 3 are suites). Chalet-type bedrooms are situated at ground level with a private terrace or balcony.

Overlooking the gardens and/or coffee plantation. Ample and comfortable. Rooms with a double bed or two single beds. The rooms have a bathroom with a shower. The suite has 2-bedroomed interconnecting rooms (with one double and triple room) available and is mostly recommended for families.

The main building is situated in the middle of the lodge and consists of a restaurant, lounge, and a large terrace with spectacular views of the Oldeani extinct volcano. There’s an outdoor swimming pool. The restaurant offers market-style dishes with locally grown produce on the farm.
