Nile Safari Lodge Murchison Falls Uganda also known as Shoebill Campsite is an eco-friendly & cozy lodge located on the southern banks of the River Nile, overlooking Murchison Falls National Park.

Built on an elevated rise on the banks of the River Nile, Nile Safari Lodge surrounds you with Africa as you always dreamed of. Herds of elephants, hippopotamus, crocodiles, and other large mammals are regularly sighted from the lodge, as the Nile flows majestically by.

The lodge is 5 hour drive from Kampala which is about 305 km. From Entebbe International Airport to Murchison Falls National Park there are several chattered flights that can be arranged.  The closest Airstrip is Bugungu Airstrip, which is a 25-minute drive from the lodge.

Nile Safari Lodge Murchison Falls Uganda features 8 secluded luxurious bandas (Deluxe Banda, Exclusive Banda & a Family Villa). Each Banda is composed of a thatched roof, spacious seating area, day bed, a generous mosquito net, en suite facilities with indoor and outdoor showers, and a private viewing deck with a swing chair and deck chairs.

The Lodge Facilities include; Infinity Pool, Peponi Bar, Restaurant, Campfires, and Green House. Massage & Yoga Deck are also available. Relax your body and mind in the peaceful environment on the River Nile.  Free Wi-Fi is available.

The lodge is also famous for its birdlife and is one of the few places from which the elusive shoebill stork can be spotted. While Murchison Falls National Park provides you with exciting animal and nature encounters, Nile Safari Lodge extends this experience with down-to-earth hospitality.
