Nimali Camp Central Serengeti Tanzania

Nimali Camp Central Serengeti Tanzania is a tented camp located in the heart of Serengeti close to Makoma Hill, offering utter seclusion and great access to the annual migration. Approximately 2 hours drive from  Naabi Gate. The camp is close to Makoma Hill, which is best known for large herds of Buffalo, Giraffes, Elephants & predators such as Lions, Cheetahs, and Hyenas. 

It is a good area for game viewing all year round. Serengeti national park is one of the most renowned wildlife parks and is well known for its great migration. The variety and abundance of wildlife in the Serengeti are unmatched by anywhere else in Africa, which is why it is such an integral part of a Tanzanian safari.

The nearest international airport is Kilimanjaro International Airport. Guests can fly to Seronera airstrip via a private charter or scheduled flight from Arusha airport. The camp is a 40-minute game drive from the airstrip. Arusha airport is approximately 8 hours’ drive while Ngorongoro Crater gate is approximately 4 hour’s drive.

Nimali Camp Central Serengeti Tanzania has only 8 tented suites, the rooms are furnished with a richness of colors, natural woods, and lush Persian carpets with large, comfortable beds, fixed wooden doors, and a private verandah.

Two of the tents are connected with an enclosed walkway, that allows easy access between the tents while maintaining complete privacy, which can accommodate a family or couples traveling together or can be used individually.

Each tent evokes richness and beauty and has been cleverly styled to combine modern furnishings with the feeling of adventure from a bygone era whilst ensuring minimal impact on the environment.

The lounge and dining tents are wide open to make the very most of the breathtaking views of the Serengeti plains, furnished to offer a cozy and relaxing area. Here, guests are immersed in nature and have the unforgettable experience of being under canvas in the middle of this vast wilderness.

The Serengeti National Park derives its name from the Maasai word “Siringet” which means a vast land that runs forever, where endless plains meet the sky. The Serengeti guarantees an exceptional safari experience.

Activities offered at Nimali Central Serengeti include; day and night game drives, fly and bush camping, walking safaris, or Maasai cultural visits. Bush lunches and dinners or champagne breakfasts.

* For game packages with children below 6 years – the vehicle has to be booked exclusively
* Children below the age of 12 years are restricted from participating in walking safaris & fly and bush camping
