Oasis Eco Camp Lake Elementaita is an intimate family-friendly getaway set in the midst of a natural acacia forest and bushes on the shores of Lake Elementaita which is on the floor of the Great Rift Valley, Kenya.
The camp is located approximately 3 km from the Main Nairobi – Nakuru road and 120 km from Nairobi.
There are 4 rustic cottages (Muthithi Cottage, Mukeu Cottage, Murera Cottage & Muthiga House), 3 large tents, and a camping site. The cottages are one, two, three or four bed-roomed.
The tents open to the scenic shores and are suited for those looking to sleep under canvas but with all the comforts. The tents have either a double bed or twin bed with their own bathrooms. They can be booked together or individually depending on the size of the group.
Camping is the easiest and most affordable way to enjoy the pleasures of Oasis Eco camp. Our campsite is located right next to the lake giving you the perfect camping Experience! We allow a limited number of people in the campgrounds to avoid overcrowding and destruction of the environment. Clean flush toilets and hot showers.
Oasis Eco Camp Lake Elementaita facilities include a large main building with a lounge and dining/kitchen area. There is also a very large area available in the main building with seats and a cooking area for large self-catering groups.
The camp does not sell alcohol and does not allow noisy and disorderly behavior. There is a conference room that can hold up to 40 guests.
The camp has ample grounds for team building grounds, bush weddings, seminars, engagement parties, and birthday celebrations. Ample playing grounds, an earthen basketball court, swings, see-saw, and other outdoor facilities for kids are available.
Activities in the camp include hiking, biking, bird watching, bush breakfasts, early morning or late evening dip at hot springs near the camp, and visits to Kariandusi Prehistoric site, Thompson Falls, and Menengai Crater and Hyrax Hill prehistoric sites.
