Offbeat Ndoto Mara North Conservancy
Offbeat Ndoto Camp has a gorgeous setting on the side of Mundia’s Hill in the 74,000 acres Mara North Conservancy. Overlooking the forested Olare Orok River valley, the camp has far-reaching views across Kenya’s spectacular Masai Mara. Offbeat Ndoto is a small camp completely independent from Offbeat Mara Camp itself.
The wildlife in the Mara North Conservancy is blooming, with plenty of resident lion prides (including the Offbeat Pride located near the camp), good elephant numbers, and much more. Additionally, the conservancy is only available to those camps that are situated inside, meaning it is quieter and more exclusive.
The Camp can be reached either by road or by air. The distance from Nairobi to Masai Mara is approximately 250 km. It takes around 5-6 hours by road while flying time takes about 45 minutes.
Offbeat Ndoto Camp Masai Mara Accommodation & Facilities
Offbeat Ndoto, the Swahili word for ‘dream’, has just four privately positioned safari tents, all with en-suite bathrooms with hot and cold running water, a lounge, and a verandah.
The camp has a charismatic octagonal mess tent set beside the river, which has a dining room and a lounge. Meals are often eaten outside, and the sycamore figs on the ‘secret’ island offer wonderful shade for al fresco lunches.

This is why you come to Mara! The wildlife in this area is extraordinary with huge numbers of plains game and with that, all the big cats. Our famous local pride, The Offbeat pride, are lions we at Offbeat have followed for generations.
Your guide knows every member of the pride and all the history that goes with them. Game viewing is exceptional all year round, but from July to October you will also get to experience the annual wildebeest migration in its hundreds of thousands.
The ‘Secret Season’ of January to March is often as rewarding, with clear skies, short grass, and the Loita wildebeest migration coming to Mara North Conservancy. Leopards, cheetahs, elephants, Buffalo, giraffes and so much more are frequently seen and often from your tent veranda.
