Ol Pejeta Wildlife Camp

Ol Pejeta Wildlife Camp is a permanent budget safari tented accommodation situated within the 110,00 acres of Ol Pejeta Conservancy, in the eastern sector of the Conservancy.

The camp is located an hour’s drive from Nanyuki Town, 215 km from Nairobi and driving time takes about 4 hours. Scheduled flight from Nairobi land at the Nanyuki airstrip, which is a 45-minute drive away from the conservancy. 

Ol Pejeta is the largest black rhino sanctuary in east Africa, and home to two of the world’s last remaining northern white rhino. It is the only place in Kenya to see chimpanzees, in a Sanctuary established to rehabilitate animals rescued from the black market. It has some of the highest predator densities in Kenya, and still manages a very successful livestock programme.

Ol Pejeta Wildlife Camp has 15 large tents, each can accommodate are easily adjustable to fit 2 to 12 guests. All the 15 tents can house 180 guests at any given time. The camp is perfect for larger groups such as schools, corporate and conference groups or organized family tours. 

From the comfort of your lounge tent, which shelters in the majestic shadow of Mt. Kenya, you can see black rhino, elephant, lion, impala, warthog, bushbuck, giraffe and other game, on a good day. 

In the Camp there is a large lounge area with flat screen TV for educational videos/ presentations, a large dining area as well as outdoor dining area, large fireplace barbeque facility, pizza oven and a well-stocked bar.

Ol Pejeta Wildlife Camp activities include; rock climbing, archery, bush skills, abseiling on the tower, canyoning, darts, outdoor cinema, a high and low ropes course and mountain biking skills course.

Guests can also enjoy playing in the volleyball court, football pitch, rugby pitch and if that’s not enough just 600 meters from camp is the Ewaso Nyiro River where guests can go for kayaking and canoeing.
