The camp is small and aims to personally tailor every day to suit what you want making your time in the Mara an unparalleled adventure in the realms of safari.

Ole Seki Mara Camp

Ol Seki Hemingway’s Mara Camp has 10 exclusive luxury tents; 6 domed Nina tents and 2 family suites Simba Tent & Chui Tent) with twin adjacent tents. All with en-suite bathrooms and each one is expertly designed to offer secluded privacy and spacious accommodation in safari-chic muted tones of vanilla and taupe.

Hot running water blasting through rain showerheads and elegant flush loos are a feature of every en-suite bathroom. These low-impact structures are camouflaged by the landscape and are fashioned for sustainability.

Nina Tent – ideal for couples. The high dome centers over a double bed decked out in fine linens. Six opening panels encompass the bed on three sides,  you can watch the dawn break in the panorama.

The rear section of the tent houses an en-suite bathroom and dressing area and in front of the tent is a large deck where you can enjoy private dining, sunbathing, and stargazing.

Simba Tent – Complete with kitchen, dining room, and living area, which connects two enormous double bedrooms, both en-suite, this is perfect for families. There’s a fully stocked bar and fridge and you can decide the level of service you require.

Chui Tent – Features two large en-suite twin bedrooms separated from a large central living space housing a private kitchen, lounge, and dining room. This suite is ideal for families or friends traveling together who would also like some privacy within the group.

Every tent sits on a private vantage point up on the rocky escarpment offering a 270° view of the bush from your bed which takes in the slope of the acacia scrub where animals graze in the shade of the sparse trees. Beyond the immediate vista, the Ngama hills hem the horizon to the east, and beyond lie the plains of the Maasai Mara.

In the Nina tents, you will be served from the kitchen and the waiters will attend to you unobtrusively. In the Chui and Simba tents, you can be given a private chef for the night who will cook in your personal kitchen and serve you at your own dining table.

The kitchen is totally mobile so don’t be surprised if you find the dining floor is the grassy plain of the conservancy one evening or if the kitchen one morning is transformed into a tree trunk and trestle table. Other facilities available at the camp include; a bar, a library tent, a deck, & a swimming pool.

Activities available at Ol Seki Hemingway’s Mara Camp include;  day game drives, hot air balloon safaris, bush picnics, sundowners, guided safari walks, star gazing, specialist guides, Maasai village visits, and night game drives. Enjoy discounted rates with African Spice Safaris.
