Old Farmhouse Meru is a bed and breakfast located in the town of Meru at the eastern slopes of Mount Kenya, 240 kilometers from Nairobi.
The farm house is an hour’s drive from Nanyuki and about 1.1 hours drives from the Nanyuki Airstrip.
The house is set in lush mature grounds and beautifully furnished and is fitted with 4 bedrooms. The house can accommodate up to 6 guests and has 2 bathrooms which have hot water showers.
This traditional stone-built home is very modern but maintains an authentic character, incorporating vintage interiors and classic farmhouse touches.
There is a lovely relaxing garden where guests can sit and enjoy themselves. There are separate staff quarters that accommodate staff who manage the house and gardens.
The farm house offers a dining area, bar area, a comfortable lounge area with fireplace, downstairs toilet and a fully working kitchen.
Guests can prepare their own meals or have the staff prepare meals for them.
