Ole Itiko Cottages Lake Naivasha is a beautiful venue situated in Kongoni Wildlife Sanctuary, past Oserian flower farms on the South Lake Road of Naivasha. Transfers by road from Nairobi take approximately one and half hours. Naivasha airstrip is 7 km from the camp.
Ole-Itiko cottages are situated in Kinja Estate, Naivasha which is a unique area of acacia woodland situated between Hippo Point and Mundui.
A sheltered oasis, clustered around a water hole and set in the pristine calm of the fresh and lush Naivasha County, Ole Itiko Cottages offers a charming blend of safari luxury.
Ole Itiko Cottage has 5 cottages namely: Ole-Itiko Cottage One, Ole-Itiko Cottage Two, Ole-Itiko Cottage Three, Ole-Itiko Apartment Style & The Annex cottage.
Ole-Itiko Cottage One – 3-rooms with double beds, can fit 6 people. The cottage features a fully fitted kitchen, a dining room & a lounge area with a fireplace and verandah.
Ole-Itiko Cottage Two – 2-bedrooms with double beds & can fit 4 people. The cottage features, a fully fitted kitchen, a dining room, a lounge area & a TV and DVD player with fireplace and verandah.
Ole-Itiko Cottage Three – 2-rooms – 1 room has one King size bed and two twin beds and the other room has one King-size bed & can fit 6-8 people (it has additional space to add one extra bed or three mattresses). The cottage features, a dining room, a fully fitted kitchen, a lounge area with a fireplace & T.V with DSTV and verandah.
Ole-Itiko Apartment Style – 4 houses 2-bedroom units in a storied modern/rustic looking apartment block. Each cottage is self-contained with a fully serviced kitchen lounge area, dining, and verandah). Each apartment/Cottage can sleep 4 guests comfortably but has a sofa bed in the living room for an additional guest. DSTV is included
The Annex cottage – usually acts as a spare bedroom, has two double beds, a fireplace & a bathroom. Each of 5 cottages has its own private veranda overlooking the water hole and built in the style of a game-viewing hide and offers unrivaled wildlife-watching
The cottages are self-catered and each has its own kitchen, dining room, verandah, and lounge area with a fireplace. A cook is usually at hand to prepare meals for them, set the tables and do the tidying up. Barbecue facilities can be provided on request.
Activities available include; nature walks, lake activities, flamingo viewing, wildlife, and bird watching.
