Osero Camp Serengeti National Park Tanzania

Osero Camp Serengeti National Park Tanzania is an exclusive-use Seasonal Camp tented camp that follows the wildebeest herds on their never-ending journey. Osero’s time is split between two private campsites that have been carefully chosen to give you the best that the Serengeti has to offer, right from the verandah of your tent.

From June to October, the camp is nestled amongst rocky kopjes (outcroppings) a short drive from the main crossing points of the Mara River in the northern Serengeti. In this area, you can watch the herds build up as they edge closer to the riverbanks before finally taking the plunge and swimming to the opposite bank.

From December to March, the camp is on the forest edge bordering the short grass plains of the southern Serengeti, close to Lake Ndutu. Here, in the shadow of the Ngorongoro highlands, you can witness the massing of herds as we enter the calving season of the migration, where close to 500,000 young wildebeest are born each year.

Osero will accommodate a single family or group of up to 16 guests in 7 luxury, custom-made safari tents. The spacious, well-appointed tents all have private verandahs with views over the Serengeti wilderness and en-suite bathrooms with flushing toilets and hot showers.

The common areas include separate dining and lounge/bar tents, with a campfire close by and an ever-attentive team of staff ready to look after your every need, providing personalized service throughout your stay with menus, beverages, and safari.

The tented camp is set in remote locations, with home comforts. True exclusivity in the bush, the camp is only for your group with a private team of staff to take care of your every need. Your menu, drinks list, rooming, and tent configuration can all be pre-planned with you.

Breakfast and lunch are served in the dining area or al fresco under the shade of the trees. Picnic breakfast and/or lunch can be served out on game drives. Dinner is served around a large dining table, dining-party style in the dining tent or under the stars. Continental-style cuisine caters to a variety of dietary tastes and requirements.

* Children under 12 years are not allowed to stay alone in tent
* Private breakfast under Osero Serengeti Tented Camp can be arranged for supplement of USD15 per person/per meal.
* Private lunch or dinner under Osero Serengeti Tented Camp can be arranged for supplement of USD 20 per person/per meal.
* Easter, Christmas, and New Year supplement – A supplement of USD 10 per person/per night will be applicable on the 31st and 1st April and also 24th, 26th, 31st Dec & 1st Jan

Children Policy and Rate

* Child above 12 years will be charged full adult rate
* Children under 3 years sharing with adult free of charge
* Children under 12 years are not allowed to stay alone in tent
* Children between 3 to 12 years sharing with 2 adult will charge 50% of adult per person sharing rate
* 2 Children between 3 to 12 years sharing with 2 adult, each child will be charged 50% of adult per person sharing rate
* Children between 3 to 12 years sharing with 1 adult, each child will charge 50% of adult per person sharing rate and adult will pay single room rate
