Papyrus Guesthouse is a cozy guesthouse in Upper Kiwafu, a residential area of Entebbe, only a short drive from the international airport and Lake Victoria. The Guest House is approximately 5 km (10 minutes) from Entebbe International Airport and 40km (1 hour) from Kampala.
Papyrus Guest House is the ideal stop-over upon arrival in Uganda or at the end of a safari. When staying at the guest house even the “forced” stay due to flight connections actually becomes an unexpected highlight of your holiday. The central location of the Guest House allows for some very interesting guided activities, all reached within a reasonable time.
Papyrus Guest House has 2 different types of rooms. There are 6 rooms in the main house and 9 garden rooms. The 6 standard rooms are all en-suite and are situated in the main house. They are spacious and beautifully decorated using local Ugandan art.
The 9 Garden Rooms are situated amongst the lush gardens. The rooms are spacious with large bathrooms and verandas for sitting outside and enjoying balmy equatorial weather. The guest house also features an onsite restaurant and massage deck.
Other hotel amenities include; 25-Hours electricity, Laundry Services, En-suite bathrooms, an In-room safe deposit box, a Private deck/veranda, and an In-house Chef. The restaurant serves intercontinental dishes à la carte making it an easy option for those too tired to explore Entebbe. High-speed wifi is complimentary for Papyrus Guesthouse customers.
The central location of the Guest House allows for some very interesting guided activities, all reached within a reasonable time; Mabamba Swamp in Lake Victoria, Sunset cruise on Lake Victoria, Gamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary & Entebbe Botanic Gardens.
