Primate Lodge Kibale National Park Uganda

Primate Lodge is an Eco-lodge situated in the heart of Kibale Forest National Park, 1.4 km from Kibale Forest Primate Reserve. The lodge is situated right next door to the starting point for Chimpanzee tracking excursions as well as the incredible Chimpanzee Habituation.

Primate Lodge is enclosed by a flourishing tropical forest which is a primates’ paradise, home to over 13 different species of primates and numerous other mammals, butterflies, and birds.

Primate Lodge Kibale National Park Uganda has 9 Luxury Cottages, 7 mid-level Forest Cottages, and a Sky Tree House. All of our 9 spacious and en-suite Luxury Cottages, each secluded deep in the forest for maximum privacy and a natural ‘living in nature’ feel.

The cottage comes complete with a 2x Double size Bed or 1x King Size Bed, a sitting area with two comfortable armchairs, a reading table, and an adjoining large veranda with excellent views of the forest.

The 7 mid-level Forest Cottages are private and en-suite with spacious bathrooms, 2x Twin size Beds or 1x King Size Bed as well as a spacious veranda overlooking the rainforest with lounge chairs.

The popular double-storied ‘Elephant Banda’ has an upstairs bedroom fitted with a giant Kingsize Bed and a downstairs living room where we can also place a smaller extra bed. As a double occupancy.

The banda is very popular with honeymooners, anniversaries, and the ‘hopeless romantics’ who can also enjoy private lounging and dining at the extensive upstairs veranda that seems to go right into the forest.

Other lodge amenities include a spacious dining terrace, a well-stocked bar, complimentary room service, a secluded lounge area with a small library, an evening campfire, laundry service (at a small fee) as well as free WiFi in the public areas. The lodge boasts two restaurants, offering international and local dishes.

Activities available from Primate Lodge Kibale include; chimp tracking, Forest walk, bird watching, Bigodi village walk discovery of the crater Lakes, Cultural heritage, and Hike at the slopes of Rwenzori along with the Nature Trail. Enjoy a tour Of Uganda’s national parks.
