Reef & Beach Resort Zanzibar is a 4 Star hotel located between the villages of Jambiani and Makunduchi on the east coast of the Island. The Oceanview rooms span 600 meters of seafront providing the perfect sea breeze to flow through the rooms.

Reef & Beach Resort Zanzibar has 149 rooms, bungalows, and a villa, all carefully furnished in an authentic African style. The new rooms can be found by crossing a beautifully designed wooden bridge, created between mangroves. The resort facilities are such that there is really no need to venture anywhere else.

Relaxing & Swimming – Reef & Beach Resort has three fantastic pools, the first pool is located right next to the Indian Ocean, and the second pool is one of a kind in Zanzibar. It is located in a tropical mangrove and is 1200 square meters big! The children’s pool will accommodate your little ones and is great for a refreshing splash.

Jetty Bar On The Indian Ocean –  This magical place is ideal to spend your day sipping on cocktails, sunbathing, or watching the sunset. During the evening the atmosphere is lifted with many activities to do and watch. The most favorite places in the resort for most people.

Beach Club – The Mango Beach Club. Here you can experience locally made cocktails, the mouth-watering pizzas freshly made in our wood oven, or try the lobster from the barbeque. It is a fantastic place to spend your day and the beach is only a few steps away.

Restaurants – Good food is the key to a memorable holiday, luckily chefs cook fresh meals daily to cater to all. The chefs also specialize in romantic lobster dinners served on the beach!  Zanzibar is known for its bold and flavorful spices, and you can try them all at Reef & Beach Resort

Spa & Wellness, Hammam – The Reef & Beach Resort offers an air-conditioned Spa and Wellness Centre, a tropical escape surrounded by flowery fragrances and flowing waters. Professional therapists provide holistic spa treatments.  Various treatments like massage, manicure, pedicure, hairdresser, and other wellness services are offered here.

Recently a new hammam has been added to the Spa and Wellness. Before a massage, book the steam room. It cleans your pores of impurities, reveals a fresher and smoother skin, and will result in an increase in blood flow during the massage.

Conference – Meetings – Weddings – There are various locations to organize either conferences, meetings, or weddings.  For a more romantic event such as a wedding or renewal of vows, our beach and Jetty bar would be the best places to set up.
