Roberts Camp Lake Baringo

Roberts Camp Lake Baringo is a budget safari accommodation located on the shores of Lake Baringo, approximately 275 kilometers from Kenya’s capital Nairobi. The camp is about 118 kilometers from the Nakuru Town.

Accommodation options include a coots cottage, coots banda, weaver banda,  large safari tents, dome tents,  small safari tents, and a campsite. Coots Cottage is the perfect family getaway. This self-contained cottage sleeps 6 guests comfortably (1 double, 4 singles), is tastefully furnished with a well-equipped kitchen.

Coots Banda is a beautiful thatched, one-room rondavel. The Banda, nestled away in a quiet corner of the campsite, sleeps up to 3 guests. Weaver Banda is our cozy, new honeymoon suite and sleeps 2. Your own little snug, perfect for couples wanting a getaway in a romantic setting.

Safari-style tent – either a double or twin. Equipped with electricity and fans and sleeps up to 3 people. Enjoy the camping gardens whilst keeping your privacy.  Small safari tents with no electricity come with a freshly made bed and sleep up to 2 people. Enjoy the freedom of camping in the wild but with a splash of luxury.

Dome Tents with freshly made double or single beds are available for hire. one can also bring their own tent and camp in the camping gardens along the shore. Facilities available to campers include showers, toilets, washing facilities.

The Thirsty Goat restaurant and bar is a place to enjoy the wildlife, relax, eat, drink. Situated in the peaceful garden, the restaurant’s menu offers a variety of freshly prepared local and international cuisine.

Drinks from our well-stocked bar, snacks, and other refreshments are served throughout the day. Guests can enjoy their meals in the outdoors as well as barbecue.

Activities in the Roberts Camp Lake Baringo include boat rides, village visits, Island excursions, walking tours and visits to the Lake Bogoria National Park and Lake Nakuru National Park.
