Sentrim Samburu Lodge

Sentrim Samburu Lodge is a luxury tented safari camp located on the banks of Ewaso Nyiro River in Samburu National Reserve, Northern Kenya. The camp is located 345 km north of Nairobi about 6 hours by road and 1 hour by air.  The closest airstrip to the lodge is the Samburu Oryx airstrip which is only 10 minutes away.

Sentrim Samburu Lodge has 21 luxury tents and 1 family house, all with tea/ coffee making facilities, minibars, fans, tile/marble floor, personal safe, mosquito nets, clothes racks, furnished verandahs, and en-suite bathrooms with permanent shower and flush toilet. The family house features a kitchen, 2 en-suite bedrooms, and a comfortable lounge area.

Sentrim Samburu Lodge dining room has a seating capacity of 60 guests, but meals can also be enjoyed on your private veranda; as well as a spacious lounge and bar area, where our naturalists deliver fascinating slide shows on most evenings.

Guests can enjoy a variety of wines, beers, and liquors at the main bar or the pool bar with a log fire next to it. There is an outdoor pool where guests can have a dip in the hot Samburu afternoons or sunbathe on the terrace.

The lodge location is surrounded by interestingly shaped hills this semi-arid acacia – Commiphora region is inhabited by elephants, buffaloes, cheetahs, lions, and leopards. In this region, you find the Northern fauna representatives: gerenuk, Grevy zebra, Reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, and over 400 bird species.
