Serengeti Mara River Camp is a luxury accommodation facility located a few meters from the Mara River in Kogatende, where the picturesque River Crossing of the great migration occurs from June to October.  

Here, the fight for survival is eminent when you are caught off-guard by just how dramatic the crossing is, with hundreds of thousands of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle tossing themselves into the river overcrowded by the Nile crocodile ready to attack and feast on them.

Lions and hyenas are also found in great numbers as they also seek to feast upon the weak links of this ferocious race.  By air, a flight from Arusha to Kogatende Airstrip takes approximately 60 minutes while by road (a distance of 456km) the journey takes(9hours+/-) from Arusha to the camp. The Nearest Airstrip to the camp is Kogatende Airstrip.

The camp has 15 luxury tents, all possessing incredible viewpoints of this scenic attraction and how hospitality accommodates your experience with outstanding professionalism and detail. Camp amenities include; Ensuite hot shower, Flush toilet, Bathrobes, Mosquito netting, Laundry service, 24H electricity, Power points for charging, Sundowner & Nightly campfires.

The dining and bar lounge areas are perfect for spending our time enjoying the savannah grassland whilst being pleasantly accommodated with all the amenities. Fine wines, cold beers, and gourmet meals are our specialties when offering you an experience of a lifetime.

Serengeti Mara River Camp Tanzania Accommodation Rates Per Night Include;

Accommodation on a Full Board basis (3 meals per day, tea and coffee). The rates also include government taxes of Value Added Tax & Tourism Development Levy (TDL)

Notes

* Children aged 6 to 15 years sharing with one adult or two adults are 50% of the adult rate
* Children aged 1 to 5 years sharing with parents are free with the exception of government taxes only
* Family Tent is arranged for a maximum of 4 People. If a tent is booked for fewer than 4 people, the full amount will be charged for 4 people
