Serengeti Sopa Lodge is a luxury lodge nestled in the acacia woodland on the edge of the escarpment overlooking the plains of the south-western Serengeti National Park, one of the most famous Parks in the world, and host to the largest and most spectacular annual migration of the wildebeest.

Serengeti Sopa Lodge is located 315 kilometers from Arusha, approximately 7.5 hours drive. It takes 50 minutes to fly from Arusha to Seronera Airstrip then a 45-minute drive to the Lodge. The lodge is set in the Nyarboro Hills, in the South West overlooking the Serengeti Plains.

Serengeti Sopa Lodge reception is airy and spacious, the walls painted with rich earth colors reflecting the tones of the surrounding area. The lobby is furnished with large comfortable chairs made out of driftwood, huge cushions, and colorful throw pillows.

The low ceiling has wooden beams across and the pillars holding it are shaped like huge pots stacked together. Beautiful metallic wall lamps with soft lighting complete the overall, warm and intimate effect. Serengeti Sopa Lodge accommodation consists of 69 standard rooms, all with 2 queen size beds, carpeted, and tastefully furnished with local fabrics and pictures.

On entering the room is a lounge with a minibar. In the front is a verandah with 2 comfortable chairs and a coffee table, with glass windows facing the vast Serengeti plains which extend as far as the naked eye can see.

Serengeti Sopa Lodge has one room suitable for the physically handicapped. The rooms have en-suite bathrooms and hairdryers. There are four very spacious double-story suites, with a lounge area on the ground floor where one can dine, sit out on the balcony facing the Serengeti Plains.

Upstairs is the bedroom with a king-size bed on a raised wooden platform and on one side a bathtub facing the plains. There is an outside open shower as well. The interior of the suites is painted with the same colors as the main building, terracotta, mustard, and blue, which are incorporated in the fabrics.

A verandah extends from the room facing the plains, ideal for relaxing and watching the plains.  The lodge features banquet facilities, outdoor dining, an outdoor pool, barbecue facilities, an onsite restaurant, a bar, and 1 conference room that accommodates 100 people, theatre-style. Activities at Serengeti Sopa Lodge include; Game drives, bush dining, gym, card games.

Full Board Accommodation per room per night and include applicable Government taxes, Service Charge, and Tanzania Tourism Development Levy. Rates exclude Park entry fees, Concession Fees (where applicable)
