Serenity on the Lake Resort & Spa is an accommodation facility located near the village of Chamugasa – Kalamera, approximately 120 km from Mwanza city and only 20 km from the Ndabaka Gate of Serengeti National Park.
The Resort is situated on the beautiful shores of Lake Victoria, the largest freshwater lake in Africa and the second largest in the world! Off the main highway between Mwanza and Isebenia/Kenyan border, the 2 km track to the right at the Chamugasa Village towards the Lake will lead to the resort. The track bisects the resort & the village.
Serenity Resort is a great location to start or end a safari and the resort is approximately 20km from the western side of the Serengeti National Park – the Ndabaka Gate
The resort boasts a vacation destination for families, retreats, weddings, and romantic getaways. And with its lush gardens and stunning view, Serenity on the Lake Resort & SPA provides a perfect backdrop to the blue waters of the Lake.
Serenity on the Lake Resort consists of 16 Bungalows (Double / Twin / Triple), 1 Executive / Honeymooners Suite with a kitchen & 1 Presidential Suite with the Private Dip Pool & a kitchen. All rooms are ensuite with both shower and bathtub and provide soft furnishings, a writing desk, stationery, and a Room fan.
Others included in the room – mineral water, flashlight, umbrellas, walking stick, whistle, and safe deposit box. Facilities at the resort include; a hippo pool & bar, white sand walk bay, blue waters spa, dhow lounge & bar, wifi available only at the reception area, and the Herron restaurant.
Activities available from Serenity on the Lake Resort & Spa include; bike tours, bird watching, tours to Serengeti National Park, village tours, nature walks, local canoeing on the lake, etc.
