Sirikoi House Laikipia

Sirikoi House is a 3-bedroom villa forming part of the larger Sirikoi lodge, in Lewa Downs Conservancy. Sirikoi Lodge is a small luxury and beautiful safari lodge located on private land within the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy on the Northern hills of Mount Kenya in Laikipia Kenya.

Sirikoi house is about 250 km North East of Nairobi. Driving time from Nairobi to Sirikoi takes about 5 hours while flights from Nairobi to Wilson airport take about 50 minutes. Both scheduled and private charter flights land at Lewa Downs airstrip. Transfer from Lewa Airstrip to Sirikoi Lodge cottage takes 15 minutes.

Sirikoi House is 3 en-suite bedrooms with a private living room, dining room, and deck for 6 guests, sold exclusively. The Sirikoi House includes three en-suite bedrooms (a Master Suite and a separate bedroom cottage with two en-suite bedrooms), which lead to a central living and dining cottage renowned for its unique positioning and decor.

There is a private deck built overlooking the wetland, perfect for private meals and sundowners. Sirikoi House is only sold on an exclusive use basis and comes with its own private safari vehicle and guide, as well as a chef and team of staff.

Evening sundowners with amazing views of distant mountain ranges, delicious meals served under the stars next to a roaring fire, and the sounds of animals in camp late at night are just a small part of this magical experience.

Lewa Wildlife Conservancy is a vital wildlife corridor connecting Kenya’s wild and arid north with the lush Mount Kenya ecosystem. The wildlife is abundant and includes many rare endangered species such as reticulated giraffe, black and white rhino, and the largest resident population of Grevy’s zebra in the world.

Elusive leopard and wild dog sightings, and families of elephants have carved Sirikoi into their migratory routes and almost daily big herds can be seen just in front of the Sirikoi deck for hours at a time.

Sirikoi House Activities Include helicopter flight, lion tracking, horse riding or walking on the conservancy, cultural visits, morning, evening, and night game drives, and quad bike safaris. The day ends with evening sundowners framed by the dramatic backdrop of Mount Kenya, and delicious meals are served under the stars or next to a roaring fire.

* Check-in time is at 11:00 am and check out by 10:00 am
* Late departure without a room – 250 US Dollars per person (includes lunch and activities)
* Late departure with the room – Charged at the per-night rate (guaranteed room for the day)
*Childcare – By prior arrangement only – 15 US Dollars per hour (1 caregiver for a maximum of 2 children)
* Sirikoi will be closed from the 15th of April – the 15th of May, and for the month of November due to our rainy seasons

Child Policy

* Children’s rate applies to children ages 5-16 years
* The Luxury Tents can be booked for children between 5-16 years
* Children 12 years and younger cannot stay in a tent on their own
* For children aged 12-16 years in a tent on their own, the single-room rate will apply
* Children under the age of 5 stay free of charge but must be booked into the Sirikoi House or Sirikoi Cottage only
* All children are the responsibility of their parents. Child carers can be arranged upon request and at an extra cost payable direct
* For 2 or 3 children aged 5 – 16 years sharing a tent, the per adult sharing rate will apply for the First child plus the per child sharing rate for the 2nd/3rd child
