The Safari Series in Lolldaiga Hills, Laikipia Camp is a luxury camp is set in a private conservancy in Northern Kenya. The Camp is set in Lolldaiga Hills, a private 49,000-acre conservancy in Northern Kenya, which overlooks the slopes of snow-capped Mt. Kenya. The camp is 14 km from Nanyuki and the nearest airport is Nanyuki, 27 km away.

The Safari Series is a Tented Camp that sleeps a maximum of 12 people between six tents and it can be booked tent-by-tent or exclusively. The camp is split into two main areas; firstly, our large, comfortable mess tent where all our meals are served.

The bedroom tents overlook the wilderness of Lolldaiga Hills and a small dam (man-made lake) which is frequented by elephants, zebras, buffaloes, and more (we have seen the footprints of lions and leopards, but not in person!).

Each tent comes with a large comfortable bed, solar power for lights and charging devices, space for storing your personal items, and an en-suite bathroom, which includes a carved wooden sink, a flushing loo, and hot showers.

The camp is furnished with quality furniture to make your stay comfortable. We make sure you are safe, and relaxed, and feel at home in our camp at all times.  The tents come with comfortable beds, cupboards to fully unpack in, fresh drinking water, and even a hot water bottle for those cooler nights.

Each tent has an en-suite bathroom with hot showers, western-style flushing toilets, and a washbasin – meaning your morning shower is one with a serious view. The Wi-Fi device can be turned on at our guest’s request.

Every like and dislike can be catered for by our kitchen staff, and by the end of your afternoon safari, you will be ready and waiting for tea and cake. Dinner is delicious and innovative meals are all made on-site in our bush kitchen by our team.

Food lovers will enjoy spending time in the company of our team of chefs, who work tirelessly to create any number of delicious home-cooked meals out in the wilderness; whether it’s a fresh loaf of bread every morning or a warm slice of lemon drizzle cake after a long day walking or in the Landrovers.

*  There is a 100 US Dollars per person per night surcharge and a 3 night minimum booking between from 18th Dec – 5th Jan
* The camp sleeps a maximum of 12 people between six tents and it can be booked tent-by-tent or exclusively (a minimum of five tents must be booked for an exclusive use booking)

* Conservation fees – 120 US Dollars per adult / 60 US Dollars per child (5 – 15 years) per night
* Transfer from Nanyuki town/airstrip – 300 US Dollars per transfer (Toyota safari car) per vehicle
* Additional activities (fly camping set up fee, community visit, additional or private game drives, night game drives, day walks, caves visit, conservation activities, Riding With Rangers, overnight horse riding safari) – bookable at an additional cost from the camp (see our Activity Menu for prices)

Full Board Accommodation + Classic Land Rover for use by guests + Some activities including two daily game drives (shared vehicles), bush lunches, sundowners, bird walk, kayaking, driving vintage + Series Land Rovers + All meals + Some drinks (tea, coffee, water, juice on arrival) + Fully inclusive of all VAT & taxes

* Conservation fees for residents- 4,000 Kenya Shillings per adult / 2,000 Ken gsper child (5 – 15 years) per night
* Conservation fees for citizens- 2,000 Kenya Shillings per adult / 1,000 Kenya Shillings per child (5 – 15 years) per night
