Thorn Spring House Vipingo Ridge is a 4 bedroom self-catering house situated within the Vipingo Ridge golf and residential estate, Mombasa North Coast. Vipingo Ridge is a five-star private residential golfing destination on the beautiful Mombasa North Coast.

The exclusive 2,500-acre residential estate is centered around an outstanding Clubhouse with an 18-hole championship golf course. The estate also boasts of a Beach Club, private airstrip, numerous lakes, woodland areas, and nature trails. Vipingo Ridge is located 36 km north of Mombasa on the Mombasa-Malindi Highway.

Vipingo estate is situated about 45 mins from Nyali and 40 mins from Kilifi. The house is located halfway between Mombasa and Kilifi, an hour’s drive from Mombasa airport. There are daily flights direct from Nairobi Wilson Airport to Vipingo three times a week.

The estate also boasts of a Beach Club, private airstrip, numerous lakes, woodland areas, and nature trails. Sunrise House is a state-of-the-art home built to the highest standards.

Thorn Spring House is a Continental/ Swahili style 4 bedroom villa. It has a large 25-meter swimming pool and is situated on the west ridge of the Vipingo Ridge Golf Estate, with stunning views overlooking the Indian Ocean. All bedrooms are fully air-conditioned and the living area has DSTV (satellite TV) and a DVD& Sound surround system.

There is a large open plan sitting and dining room with folding doors out onto the veranda, bar area, and swimming pool. Two en-suite bedrooms have direct access out onto the veranda and swimming pool through large folding doors, all adding to the comfort and luxury of your stay.

The remaining two bedrooms face west and share one large bathroom. An extra guest toilet is accessible along the corridor from the bedrooms next to the study. The house has a large fully equipped state-of-the-art teak wood kitchen with 2 fridges, a bottle cooler, and all the latest cooking facilities, as well as a dry store, laundry, and dry room attached.

Kuruwitu marine conservancy is an internationally acclaimed initiative and it’s literally on the doorstep!  Snorkel right off the beach and take in the stunning marine ecosystem or take a guided reef walk with the knowledgeable conservancy staff.   Alternatively, you can take a stroll down to the fabulous Vipingo Ridge Beach Bar.
