Tindiga Tented Camp Ngorongoro Tanzania is a beautiful and small traditional camp, ideally situated only 1,5 kilometers from the stunning Lake Eyasi, a seasonal saltwater lake that almost completely dries up in the dry season. Kuro Airstrip is 120.2 km away.

The Camp is situated on a hill overlooking the shrubland of the Eyasi Ecosystem, with Mount Masumbuku in the west and the hills of the Ngorongoro area in the north, offering some beautiful views.

This great landscape is home to the indigenous bushman, the Hadzabe, and the nomadic Datoga tribe. In fact, this is the only place in Africa where you can go hunting with these Hadzabe, the last known tribe that lives by hunting and gathering honey and fruit. 

Tindiga Tented Camp Ngorongoro Tanzania has 10 traditional-style canvas tents, with an en-suite bathroom, private veranda, bathroom with shower, flush toilet, wash hand basin, soap, towels, and bottled water. The camp’s rustic dining room/restaurant is built by local Datoga women, reflecting their culture and lifestyle.

* Day rooms are available and can be used between the hours of 11 AM and 6 PM

* The latest check-out time is 6 PM. A room can be shared by a maximum of 4 people for showering, etc
* Guests should be aware that there may be inadequate hot water for all four persons due to the water heaters being individual to each cottage
