Tukaone Serengeti Camp Tanzania

Tukaone Serengeti Camp is a private tented safari accommodation perfectly located at the heart of Central Serengeti with a perfect view of Hembe Hills overlooking the endless plains of Serengeti. Its unique location provides a diversity of resident wildlife and millions of migrations of animals that pass through these plains year after year.

The Camp is approximately 320Km from Arusha town.  By road drive from Arusha takes approximately 8-10 hours with game drives en-route. By air, it takes about 60 minutes from Arusha to Seronera Airstrip.

Tukaone Serengeti Camp has been designed to blend into its surroundings and minimize our visual and environmental impact while offering needed to the clients. All the tents are custom-made using heavy-duty canvas ensuring a spacious room complete with en suite bathrooms.

Tukaone Serengeti Camp Tanzania has 15 spacious tents that can be configured for either Single, Double, Twin, or Triple occupancy. All tents have private flush toilets, hot and cold showers, wash basins & spacious verandah in front of the room furnished with comfortable safari chairs and tables giving a perfect retreat for a relaxing moment watching animals closely.

Electrical lighting is through solar that provides the right amount of light after dark and in this case, gives a highly reduced carbon footprint and glare. This preserves the delicate balance of the ecosystem and adds to the greater appreciation of the vast open starry skies of the Serengeti plains.

Dining is set with an amazing view under acacia trees overlooking the plains of Serengeti. The camp’s chef will prepare 3 multi-course meals each day, as well as lunch boxes for guests while on game drives.

Special requirements are met on request i.e Vegetarian cuisine and special dietary meals. At the end of the day, all guests can enjoy a sundowner at the camp, which includes cocktails, food, and a warm campfire.

Other camp facilities include; Lounge & Bar, Gift / Souvenir Shop, Communal campfire, Board games & cards, Guest library, Solar Electrical lighting, a Power station with charging cables, a Private bathroom with a hot and cold shower, and a flush toilet. Bush Breakfast or Bush dinner is possible on request.

Activities available from Tukaone Serengeti Camp include; Game Drives, Hot Air Balloon Safari, Walking safaris, witnessing the Migration at Serengeti National Park, Birding, Sundowners/ sunset watch meals, and drinks, Nature walks, etc.
