Zawadi Serengeti Camp Tanzania

Zawadi Serengeti Camp is a tented safari accommodation situated within the Serengeti National Park, right next to the famed animal migration paths of the area, and only two km away from the Orangi River.

The camp is centrally positioned in the Kemarishe Hills, a 30-minute drive from Seronera Airstrip and 6 km from Retima Hippo Pool. Serengeti National Park is approximately 350kilometers from Arusha by road and the estimated driving time is five hours. The flying time from Arusha to Serengeti Seronera airstrip is approximately 2 hours.

Zawadi, or “gift” in Swahili, is a family-run safari camp with a mission to ‘gift’  guests with a truly life-enhancing experience of the Serengeti landscape and inhabitants.

With just 6 guest tents. The tents are equipped with the following; one super king-size bed, a private bathroom with a shower with hot and cold water, a Private veranda and stunning view, and USB charging facilities.

Zawadi Camp offers a personalized and tailored experience that ensures guests can bask in the warm African sun, drink in the stunning landscape, and celebrate the native, often majestic, and always captivating wildlife of the Serengeti.

Each of the six tents has a private en-suite bathroom with running hot water. The tents are exclusively designed to provide a restful and luxurious experience with a sunset view restaurant and bar, free WiFi, and a 24-hour front desk. 

The mess tent is equipped with a top-quality restaurant and bar where our dedicated team will be able to help you at any time, as well as a relaxing lounge with stunning views of the Serengeti National Park. The mess tent also includes WIFI connectivity and device charging facilities.

Activities available from Zawadi Serengeti Camp include; game drives, balloons safaris, village visits, walking safaris, and picnics.

* An additional 30 US Dollars per person per day on 24th, 25th, and 31st December for special meals celebration will apply
* Family Tent accommodates a maximum of two adults and two children between 12 and 18 years old OR three adults and one child between 12 and 18 years old
