Day 1: Kisumu City to Masai Mara Game Reserve 

0600 Hours: Depart Kisumu City after breakfast, driving through tea plantations in Kericho and onwards to the Masai Mara

1300 Hours: Arrive in Masai Mara, check into the lodge/camp, and have lunch

1500 Hours – 1830 Hours: Afternoon game drive. Explore the savannah in search of lions, elephants, giraffes, and cheetahs

1900 Hours: Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge/camp

Day 2: Masai Mara Game Reserve to Kisumu City

0600 Hours – 0900 Hours: Early morning game drive, offering the best chance to spot active predators before breakfast

0930 Hours: Return to the camp for a full breakfast and check out

1100 Hours: Begin the return drive to Kisumu

1700 Hours – 1800 Hours: Arrive back in Kisumu city

Important Information

0600 Hours: We depart Kisumu city, after breakfast at our hotel/ residence to the Masai Mara Game Reserve driving through the towns of Kericho, Sotik, Mulot, and into Masai Mara.

1300 Hours: Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild of the Maasai Mara offering a unique way to enjoy the natural beauty of this remarkable landscape.

1400 Hours: After lunch, you proceed on a game drive.  Masai Mara Game Reserve is part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest migration. The Mara is home to the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo, and Rhino.

Other animals include Masai Giraffe, Buffalo, Eland, and thousands of simple game including Impala, Zebra, Topi, both Thomson’s and grants Gazelles.

0900 Hours: Breakfast is served at the camp/ lodge then depart by road to Kisumu or Nairobi with game viewing en-route.
