0800 Hours: Depart in the morning for the exclusive Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club. This club, founded by Hollywood star William Holden several decades ago, is now a Fairmont hotel property.

Along the way, you will stop at the Equator in Nanyuki, where you can take pictures and watch the demonstration of water running clockwise and counter-clockwise on either side of the equator.

1300 Hours: Arrive at the hotel, check in, and proceed for a sumptuous buffet lunch. The rest of the day is at leisure.

The Club offers several activities such as golf, horse riding, and nature hikes.

1930 Hours: Enjoy a formal set-menu dinner in the evening.

Experience close-up viewing of the Big Five – lion, elephant, rhino, leopard, and buffalo – as well as multitudes of other wildlife from the comfort of your vehicle.

1000 Hours: visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary – the only place in Kenya where this highly endangered and remarkably intelligent species can be seen!

After visiting Baraka, the tame black rhino. Baraka is a major attraction at the Morani Information Center. Enjoy a game drive in the park, where you can see giraffes, zebras, elephants, buffalo, warthogs, waterbucks, hartebeests, lions, cheetahs, leopards, gazelles, and Impalas.

Over 500 species of birds have been recorded, including the Ostrich.
