Our Lake Manyara National Park 1 Day Trip is a short, affordable wildlife safari near Arusha/ Moshi in Tanzania. The tour departs from your hotel after breakfast by road to Lake Manyara National Park, a renowned Tanzanian safari destination known for its beautiful landscapes and diverse wildlife.

Lake Manyara National Park is 126 km (78 mi) southwest of Arusha and can be reached by car in an hour and a half.  We arrive at the park and proceed on a game drive. This impressive park is one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake (covering two-thirds of the park) at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment.

The park’s varied habitat attracts a wide variety of animals, including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of elephants, Manyara’s famous tree-climbing lions, and large flocks of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake.

Picnic Lunch is served at the Msasa Picnic site, which offers excellent lake views. After lunch, we’ll have an afternoon game drive in the park to see the diverse flora and fauna. There are some 350 different bird species in the park.

Afterward, drive back to Arusha and drop off at your Hotel.

0730 Hours: Lake Manyara National Park Day Trip departs after breakfast at your hotel/ residence in Arusha or Moshi. We pick you up and depart by road to Lake Manyara National Park.

1030 Hours: We arrive at the park and proceed on a game drive. This impressive park is one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake (covering two-thirds of the park) at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment.
