Enjoy 2 nights at Loldia House, followed by 3 nights at Governors’ Mugie House and 3 nights at one of the 4 award-winning Masai Mara Governors’ luxury camps (Governors Camp, Little Governors Camp, Governors Il Moran Camp, or Governors Private Camp).
Expect the highest comfort, the best of game-drive action, a gourmet menu, and a more personalized experience overall from this luxury African Spice Safaris trip.
Begin your exciting safari holiday at Loldia House – an original Kenyan home set on an old farm on the shores of Lake Naivasha in the Great Rift Valley. It’s 2 hours by road from Nairobi. The house is set in lawns, which are grazed at night by hippos from the lake, and ideally situated to visit the flamingo at Lake Nakuru National Park.
Activities on offer include horse riding on the ranch, tennis, bird watching, fishing, nature walks, boat safaris, and excursions to Mount Longonot or Hell’s Gate National Park.
We fly to Laikipia and stay at Governor Mugie House on the private Mugie conservancy. This wildlife sanctuary is home to elands, buffalos, elephants, hyenas, cheetahs, lions, and other plains animals.
We spend 3 nights at Governor Mugie’s house which offers a myriad of activities by which to explore and enjoy its vast open landscapes and abundant wildlife. Go on guided game drives, guided walks, camel rides, kayaking, fishing, or golfing.
Next, you fly to the Masai Mara – one of the most famous parks in the world and is renowned for its role in the annual wildebeest migration from about August every year. Apart from the Great Migration, the Masai Mara has excellent wildlife viewing throughout the year, and sightings of four of the Big Five – leopard, lion, elephant, and buffalo – are pretty much a given.
We stay at any one of the 4 award-winning Governors Camps which are Governors Camp, Little Governors Camp, Governors Il Moran Camp, or Governors Private Camp.
