Rubondo Island National Park

Rubondo Island National Park, established in 1977, is a 457 km² protected “jewel” located in the southwest corner of Lake Victoria, Tanzania. The park is managed by the Tanzania National Parks Authority (TANAPA), which helps ensure its status as a pristine, off-the-beaten-path destination.
