Our Fly-in Masai Mara Safari starts at the Wilson Airport in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya. At 10h00 we catch a flight to Masai Mara from Wilson Airport, which handles mostly regional and domestic flights. Landing at the Keekorok Airstrip Masai Mara at about 11h00, a driver from the lodge is there to collect you. You are transferred to Mara Simba Lodge, enjoying your first game drive along the way. We arrive at the lodge in time for a freshly prepared lunch, before setting off on a late afternoon game drive in the Masai Mara Game Reserve. We spend the whole of day two on game viewing. The Masai Mara hosts large populations of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffalos, leopards (four of the Big 5 animals), and plenty of others, such as cheetahs and giraffes.

On day three of our Fly-in Masai Mara Safari, before breakfast in the morning we embark on a game-viewing adventure in the Masai Mara. We take a game drive or guided bush walk with a Maasai guide. After breakfast back at the lodge, we pack up and say goodbye to the wild Masai Mara ecosystem, retracing our steps to the Keekorok Airstrip. The scheduled flight to Nairobi departs at about 11h00 and arrives at Wilson Airport in Nairobi at about 12h15, bringing this Masai Mara Safari to a close.

Stretching as far as the eye can see, a teeming mass of zebra, wildebeest, and topi, trailed by scavengers make way into the Mara plains from the Serengeti, in what is known as the Great Migration. It is estimated that over two million animals take part in the journey.

Day 1: Nairobi – Fly to Masai Mara Game Reserve

On this day, you will be transferred to Wilson Airport to catch a flight to Masai Mara where you will be met and taken to the lodge.

You will go on a short game drive to the lodge where you will check-in. After lunch and short rest, proceed for an evening game drive. Later return to the camp for dinner and accommodation.

Day 2: Explore Masai Mara Game Reserve

You’ll rise before the sun and embark on a full day game drive in the Masai Mara National Reserve in search of the Big Five – lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, and rhino.

These animals are known to be the 5 most dangerous animals to hunt. Enjoy viewing the animals up close from the safety distance in the safari vehicle.

Return to the lodge for lunch and some rest. Later depart on another game drive for yet another brilliant wildlife experience or take an optional tour to visit the Masai people in their village.

Wake up early before the sun and embark on a morning game drive, returning to camp for breakfast. After breakfast, you head to the airstrip for your flight back to Wilson Airport, Nairobi. Upon arrival, we transfer you to your hotel residence.
