3-Day Fly-In Safari Package Tipilikwani Mara Camp offers an adventure of an African flying safari from Nairobi to Tipilikwani Mara Camp located 4 km upstream from the Talek Gate in the Masai Mara Reserve, Southwest Kenya. Tipilikwani Camp is a 45 minutes flight away from the Nairobi Wilson Airport and a 25-minute drive from the nearest Airstrip – Olkiombo.

From Mombasa – 2-hour flight from Mombasa daily at 0800 hours. Air packages from Mombasa are available on a daily basis. The camp’s prime location plays host to one of the most spectacular wildlife shows on earth, the great annual migration of over a million wildebeests and zebra as they enter the Mara ecosystem.

Tipilikwani Camp houses families and double tents with a Maasai touch. The camps’ tents have en-suite showers and large verandas, perfect for experiencing Mara’s sun-downers. The in-house restaurant offers African and continental meals to guests which can be enjoyed at different locations within Tipilikwani Mara Camp.

Guests at Tipilikwani Mara Camp can look forward to game drives in 4-wheel-drive vehicles, Masai Mara Hot air balloon safari, traditional Masai cultural visits, guided bush walks, picnic lunches, sundowners, and bush meals. The camp also offers free Wi-Fi internet access and relaxing treatments at the spa/ wellness center and sauna.

1000 Hours: Depart Nairobi Wilson Airport (reporting time 0900 hours).

1100 Hours: Arrive at Maasai Mara Game Reserve and transfer to Tipilikwani Mara Camp followed by lunch. After lunch at the Camp, there is a chance to relax by the swimming pool before an evening game drive.

1530 Hours: Enjoy the evening game drive, which offers you a chance to view a wide variety of wildlife in this magical reserve. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay

Day 2: Explore the Maasai Mara Game Reserve

After a cup of tea, coffee, or hot chocolate very early morning game drive in the Masai Mara – the ideal time to see the game as temperatures are cooler and hopefully lions, cheetahs and leopards will be roaming the vast grasslands in search of prey. Return to the lodge for breakfast. The rest of the morning at leisure or partake in optional activities, a visit to Masai village to see their nomadic life at extra cost.

After lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive to get a closer look at the Mara and to look out for the ‘ Big 5 ‘. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Masai Mara – Fly back to Nairobi

Early morning game drive on sunrise when predators are active and after breakfast, a short rest before you are transferred to the Airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi.

After breakfast enjoys a game drive en route to the Airstrip for your flight to Nairobi departing at 1115 hours to arrive at Wilson Airport approximately at 1215 hours, thus ending this wonderful Masai Mara Trip.
