A&K Sanctuary Kitirua Plains Lodge is an architecturally striking, eco-friendly luxury lodge seamlessly integrated into the Amboseli National Park landscape. As the newest addition to the A&K Sanctuary portfolio, its design blends effortlessly with the terrain rather than imitating it.

Curved walls and fluid rooflines mirror the undulating plains, while exterior plaster mixed with local soil creates a harmonious, natural tone. Even the swimming pool, flanked by an earth-toned terrace dotted with daybeds, sits unobtrusively within an existing wetland.

The lodge offers uninterrupted views of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro from every suite, whether you are relaxing in bed or soaking in a freestanding bath.

Guests can experience the mountain up close during daily game drives, scenic helicopter flights, or hot-air balloon safaris, with wildlife-rich plains stretching to the horizon.

Set within a UNESCO World Heritage landscape, the surrounding Amboseli ecosystem is a tapestry of marshes, acacia woodlands, and vast savannahs, home to elephants, big cats, giraffes, and hundreds of bird species.

Kitirua Plains Lodge is situated within the Amboseli National Park ecosystem in a 128-acre private concession adjoining the park, located on the Kenya–Tanzania border, offering panoramic views of Mount Kilimanjaro and the surrounding open plains.
