Keekorok Lodge Masai Mara

Keekorok Lodge Masai Mara is a 5-star family-friendly safari lodge located within the Keekorok area, southern end of Masai Mara Reserve. The first of its kind to be built in Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve. The lodge sits in the direct path of the annual migration.

It offers top-class comfort and luxury, yet still retains its intrinsic years of history, tradition, character, and charm. There’s always plenty of activity around the waterhole, but during the migration, the lodge is enveloped by the swarming mass of animals.

The Masai Mara is 250 km from Nairobi. Driving time takes about 4 hours while flights from Nairobi’s Wilson airport take about 45 minutes. Scheduled flights land at Keekorok Airstrip which is only a 10-minute drive away.

Keekorok Lodge has 99 guest rooms, all with en suite facilities and private balconies. There are Standard Rooms, Chalets, an Executive Suite, and a three-bedroom Presidential Suite. The tastefully-furnished rooms are either within single-story blocks or are individual bungalows.

Chalet Room –These rooms overlook the sprawling lush gardens which offer peaceful views.

Executive Suite & Premium Suite – These rooms are authentically designed décor with perfect views of the lawns and gardens. 

Standard Room – The Standard rooms have been furnished with carefully selected custom-made furnishings, that reflect the hotel’s quiet serenity. Rooms are authentically designed décor with perfect views of the Lawns and the Wild.

Presidential Suite – The presidential suite/cottage provides a large living and dining area. Private terrace with day bed overlooking the lake and a private outdoor fireplace. Offers guests a one-of-a-kind guest experience and contemporary comfort and modern lifestyle. 

The restaurant opens onto a verandah and guests can eat inside or out and serve a variety of traditional African, Asian, and Western food. Bush dinners are set on the banks of the Mara River. There are 3 bars; the pool bar, the Hippo bar, and the Lounge bar where guests can be served a fine collection of whiskies and cigars along with exquisite freshly ground Kenyan coffee.

The lodge has a spa where guests can relax and rejuvenate. Professional health and beauty treatments include full body, face, and foot massages, aromatherapy, body scrub, and wraps. There is a crystal-clear swimming pool, shaded by bougainvillea, which has ample sunbeds and mattresses available for guest use.

Keekorok Lodge Masai Mara activities include hot air balloon safaris, game drives, bird watching, cultural tours/ village visits, and fishing.
