Lalashe Maasai Mara Luxury Tented Safari Camp

Lalashe Maasai Mara Luxury Tented Safari Camp is located on the edge of Maasai Mara and Olare Orok Conservancy (in Kenya’s Maasai Mara National Reserve). The camp has only 5 luxury tented suites. The main area overlooks a waterhole that is frequently visited by a variety of wildlife including zebra, giraffes, impala, buffalo, warthog, topi, wildebeest/gnu, and elephant. The camp activities range from safaris in Maasai Mara in open-sided customized safari vehicles, walking safaris, helicopter scenic flights in the Mara and out of Mara, Maasai cultural visits, visit to the Rhino Sanctuary, hot air balloon rides, visits to a local school, and sundowners/bush dinners.

Lalashe Maasai Mara is a small intimate luxury tented safari camp located on the Siana Conservancy on the North–Eastern edge of the Maasai Mara Game Reserve in Kenya. There are only 5 luxury tented suites making the camp very intimate and thus ensuring all guests get authentic and personalized service.

Each of these luxury tents has excellent views of the open plains of Mara’s ecosystem that gives all guests armchair safaris while relaxing in the rooms. The camp’s main area overlooks a watering hole that is frequently visited by resident wildlife from zebras, giraffes, impalas, buffalos, warthogs, topis, wildebeests, and elephants among other animals.

The luxury tented suites are spread along a small stream with each offering privacy from the other since they are set far apart.  Each commands excellent views of the open plains of the Mara and guests frequently spot animals from the tents coming to drink at the nearby water hole. Each tent has a private plunge pool and an outdoor lounge.

All tents have both ceiling and floor fans, WiFi, mosquito-proof windows, a fully stocked bar, coffee-making machines, and a private dining space where guests enjoy private meals. There are telephones in all rooms for communication with the main area. Included in the tents are indoor and outdoor twin rain showers with a view of the open plains of the Mara.

Other room amenities include mosquito nets, hairdryers, twin vanity, dressing mirrors, reading table, wildlife books, in-room safe deposit, wardrobe, international adaptors, and 24/7 power. Whole-body Swedish massages are available on request.

Lalashe Maasai Mara has a comfy and beautifully designed main area that overlooks a waterhole that is frequently visited by resident wildlife. The camp offers delicious meals and is flexible with all requests such as Vegan, Vegetarians, Halal, Gluten-free, and any other preferences.

Activities from the camp include safari game drives, hot air balloon rides, visits to the White Rhino Conservation Sanctuary in the Mara where two Rhinos Koffi Annan (Male) and Queen Elizabeth (Female) reside, walking safaris, Masai village visits, scenic Helicopter flights around the Mara, and a visit to the Loigero Primary School to support/ sponsoring children.

* Children below 3-12 years (when permitted to stay) will be charged 50% of adult sharing rate
* Children below 8 years of age will not be allowed at the camp unless their booking is on “exclusive use” basis and in which case the children should always be under their parents/guidance supervision

Masai Mara Park Fees

* 100 US Dollars per adult, per night from 1st January to 30th June
* 200 US Dollars per adult, per night from 1st July to 31st December
* 50 US Dollars per child, per night all year (aged 3 to 17 years inclusive)
