Little Amanya Camp features 24 spacious, self-contained tents that cater to various needs and preferences, including single, double, twin, suite, and family accommodations. All the tents have a private entrance, a flat-screen TV, a flush toilet, a hot and cold shower, and a bathtub. Some of the bathtubs are located on the balcony, giving you a splendid view of Mount Kilimanjaro as you relax.

Little Amanya Camp has a restaurant that serves African cuisine, as well as continental and full English/Irish breakfast options. You can also enjoy some wine or champagne and fruit in your tent. The camp chef can cater to special meal requirements, such as vegetarian, vegan, or non-vegetarian.

You can also request a private sundown dinner under the stars or a sunrise breakfast under the open skies. The camp has a pool with a view and a hot tub for guests to unwind and relax. Activities include safari game drives in Amboseli National Park, nature walks, Maasai village visits, Hot Air Balloon Rides, bush meals, and Maasai dances.

In your Amboseli safari, you can expect to see many of the savannah wildlife – giraffes, Grant’s, and Thompson’s gazelles, buffalo, hartebeest, waterbuck, eland, wildebeest, and Burchell’s zebra. In the drier areas, you will be lucky to spot gerenuk and fringe-eared oryx as well as bat-eared foxes, caracal, jackals, and serval cats.

With relations between wildlife and communities improving, the Amboseli predators have made a comeback. You will see lions and hyenas, though cheetahs and leopards remain elusive. As many as 400 bird species have been counted at Amboseli National Park. The combination of seasonal lakes, permanent swamps, and dry plains makes it a bird watcher’s utopia.

There are about 47 species of raptors, including martial eagles, fish eagles, and secretary birds. Taveta golden weavers are common, and the endangered Malagasy pond heron is also present. Palearctic migrants appear in the safari low season. With many of Amboseli’s tracks running close to bodies of water, water birds are abundant—long-toed lapwings, rufous-bellied herons, crowned cranes, kingfishers, pelicans, hammerkops, and more.
