Masai Mara Safari 2 Days 1 Night Kenya Road Trip

Masai Mara Safari 2 Days 1 Night Kenya Road Trip is a short safari from Nairobi for guests who do not have enough time for a longer Safari and offers you 2 days in the world-famous Masai Mara Game Reserve.

The Masai Mara is Kenya’s finest and most outstanding wildlife sanctuary where gentle rolling grassland ensures animals are never out of sight. Masai Mara Game Reserve is approximately 280 km West of Nairobi City. Driving will take you about 5 to 6 hours.

Masai Mara is the best place to see the “Big Five” animals (elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, and buffalo) together. The famous wildebeest migration also takes place at the Mara. Masai Mara National Reserve (also known as Masai Mara or The Mara) is situated within the Great Rift Valley in the southern part of Kenya.

Measuring approximately 1510 square km (approximately 938 square miles) in size, this unfenced Savannah grassland is roughly 150 miles southeast of Nairobi. The Masai Mara provides the best view of the famous wildebeest migration as the animals cross the Mara River between July and August.

The Mara is also home to the richest concentration of wildlife, including the “Big Five” (elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, and buffalo), zebras, antelope, gnus, Oribis, hyenas, giraffes, warthogs, gazelles, hartebeests, hippos, crocodiles, and others.

The park has the largest concentration of African lions, including the black-maned lion. Bird-life is as plentiful as wildlife at the Masai Mara, which boasts over 400 different bird species.

What to See and Do in The Masai Mara – Highlights and Activities
