Mbweha Camp Lake Nakuru

Mbweha Camp Lake Nakuru is a luxury safari camp tucked away in the spectacular Great Rift Valley on the private 6400 acres of Congreve Conservancy bordering Lake Nakuru National Park.

Mbweha Camp is nestled up against the southern border of Lake Nakuru National Park with beautiful views over the Eburru and Mau ranges. Congreve Conservancy is part of the greater conservancy area called Soysambu which has a large part of Elementaita within its borders.

The camp affords beautiful views over the Eburru and Mau ranges. Mbweha Camp is easily accessible from Nairobi by road in about 3 hours along the Nairobi – Nakuru highway while Lake Nakuru is a 25-minutes drive away. The camp has access to a nearby airstrip for charter flights.

Mbweha is the Kiswahili word for the jackal. It is here that you can find all three species of jackal found in East Africa, the Side-striped jackal, the Silver backed jackal, and the golden jackal. Congreve Conservancy has over 300 species of birds and is home to the majority of plains game such as eland, warthogs, zebras, leopard, grants, gazelle, waterbuck, impala, hyena, dik-dik, buffalo, giraffe, aardvark, baboon, and flamingo.

Every cottage is surrounded by indigenous trees that provide a relaxed atmosphere as you listen to the African night sounds of a lion roar or the laughter of the hyena in the distance. The camp offers free Wi-Fi and has a spa, gym, sauna, swimming pool, restaurant, and bar on site.

Being in the heart of Soysambu Conservancy Implies Clients are enriched in history as Soysambu is a World Heritage Site and Ramsar Site.
