Mwangaza Mara Camp is situated within the Masai Mara Eco-system, close to the entrance of the game park gate within the Oloilomutia settlement of Masai Mara. 11 km from Hippo pool.
The camp can be reached either by road or by air. The distance from Nairobi to Masai Mara is approximately 280 km. It takes around 5-6 hours by road while flying time take approximately 45 minutes. Keekorok Airstrip is 20 minutes game drive from the camp.
The facilities include Seven (7) standard tents with en-suite washing facilities (toilet and warm shower). Each one is individually decorated and has two beds and mosquito nets for your comfort.
A full-service restaurant offering you continental dishes, the best of Kenya cuisines and fully stocked bar offering a selection of beers, wines, spirits and local drinks. Our knowledgeable, hospitable and courteous staff are always at your service, ensuring you are safe and having a great time.
The camp gives you breathtaking and best views available from our double decked restaurant which affords campers the opportunity to view wild animals as they come downhill to graze in the early hours of the morning.

The camp lighting is provided by hydroelectric generated power and backed up by diesel run generator which runs from 6.30pm in the evening up to 10.00 o’clock. Sockets are provided in all tents for charging of digital cameras and mobile phones.
Wildlife – Nowhere in Africa is more wildlife abundant. The Mara is known as one of the finest wildlife destinations in the world, with an excellent chance of seeing the big five, cheetah, serval, hyena, bat-eared foxes, black-backed and side-striped jackals, hippo, crocodile, baboons, warthog, topi, eland, Thompson’s gazelle, Grant’s gazelle, impala, waterbuck etc.
Mwangaza Mara Camp activities include; guided safari walks, picnic lunches, biking, darts, Maasai village visits and game drives. Mwangaza is a beautiful wilderness retreat with animal sighting trails and other outdoor recreational activities.
