Nairobi Snake Park Day Tour includes a 1-hour guided tour of the Nairobi Snake Park, which is located adjacent to the Nairobi National Museum and is extremely popular with visitors. On display are cobras, puff adders, mambas, and the large African rock python (non-poisonous), found only in Kenya.

Several species of crocodiles found in Africa, the American alligator, freshwater terrapins, and tortoises are also on display. Aquariums holding coral fish from the East African lakes and rivers are a main feature of the park.

Apart from its attraction, Snake Park provides refuge and a home for abandoned and unwanted reptiles, including a giant tortoise that still lives there. The specimen was found wandering along a road in Limuru in 1961. The Snake Park has continued to provide refuge to several abandoned, threatened, rescued, and unwanted reptiles to date.

The Snake Park has continued to attract visitors steadily over the years. To date, the public in Nairobi has continued to receive help with removing snakes from residential premises, as well as advice on handling reptiles, especially snakes. Snake identification service is also provided.

Visitors to Snake Park can enjoy exhibits featuring reptiles, fish, and succulent plants.  This 1-hour Nairobi day tour includes hotel pickup and drop-off, a professional guide, and entrance fees to the snake park. Note: Food, drinks, and gratuities are at your own expense.

The facility is located on Museum Hill and is open every day from 0830 Hours to 1730 Hours

Nairobi Snake Park Day Tour is an informative one-hour guided tour of the popular attraction and research facility for reptiles and snake breeding, located adjacent to the Nairobi National Museum in Kenya. There are crocodiles, octopuses, giant snails, snakes, prawns, fish, etc.
