Shimba Green Lodge is a 3 stars safari accommodation located in Shimba hills, Kwale county, south coast of Mombasa. The lodge is situated on a hill overlooking the Mwaluganje Elephant Sanctuary on the Nothern foothills of the Shimba Hills National Reserve.
Shimba Green Lodge is just about 20 minutes (30km) from Diani Beach and a 15-minute drive from Mombasa Marine National Park. The nearest airport is Ukunda, 41 km from the tented camp.
The resort, which enjoys a cool and breezy climate, is placed on the edge of the reserve in a lush garden. There are 7 tented chalets accommodation a maximum of 20 guests. Each room features a bath, showers, and bidets, a private bathroom comes with a bathtub, a bidet, and bathrobes.
Lodge amenities comprise a Large restaurant, a bar, and a Crystal clear swimming pool with a jacuzzi strategically placed right at the edge of a cliff offering a picturesque 180 degrees view of lush gardens, the animal sanctuary, and land beyond.
