Tapendoi Farm Guest House farmhouse is located in Loldaiga Ranch – a stunning 50000-acre cattle ranch and wildlife conservancy 30 km to the northwest of Mount Kenya. Tapendoi Guest House is situated at the border of Lolldaiga Ranch, 25 minutes from Nanyuki, Laikipia. The Nanyuki Airstrip is 35 minutes drive away.  The house is let on a self-catering basis and the minimum stay is 2 nights. House comes fully staffed including a cook and 3 house staff. The main house has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms plus 2 permanent en-suite tents. The house can accommodate a maximum of 16 guests including children.

Tapendoi Farm Guest House activities include game drives on Lolldaiga Hills Wildlife Conservancy, horseback riding on nearby ranches, guided bushwalks, bird-watching, cave visits, picnics, bush breakfast, sundowners, participation in livestock husbandry, camel riding, mountain biking, Ox-cart trips, etc.

Tapendoi Farm Guest House is situated at the border of Lolldaiga Ranch, 25 minutes from Nanyuki, Laikipia. With no fence between the farm and the conservation area, with a spectacular view over the Lolldaiga Hills Wildlife Conservancy. The Nanyuki Airstrip is 35 minutes drive away.

Laikipia Plateau is known for its traditional ranches and rolling farmland. Highlights of the Laikipia Plateau include the Sweetwaters Game Reserve, the Lewa Conservancy, and the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, which boasts the largest concentration of wildlife in the region.

The main house has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms plus 2 permanent en-suite tents. The house can accommodate a maximum of 12 guests (including children). The house is let on a self-catering basis only. However, we can organize catering with prior arrangements for an extra cost.

There is enough space in the tents to fit cots and single beds for children. The tents have private verandas which provide a perfect place for yoga and the bathrooms are en-suite with hot showers and double sinks.

Tapendoi Farm Guest House is encircled by a huge wooden floored veranda, whose elegant French doors open onto a well-furnished open-plan living/dining with a fireplace, reception room and well-equipped kitchen.

There is an outdoor swimming pool where guests can take a deep and has a childproof fence. In the evening guests can enjoy a sundowner by the fire on the veranda and listen to the sounds of the African night as well as watch the Colobus Monkeys jumping through the forest canopy below. Listen to hyenas, lions, and leopards roaring at night.

Tapendoi Farm Guest House activities include game drives, horse riding, hiking Mount Kenya, lunch in Lewa, spa treatments, visits to Ol Pejeta, Lolldaiga Ranch and the Forest canopy walk, and the blue pools at the Ngare Ndare Forest.

You can get to us in a small car, but you won’t be able to visit any of the amazing things to do around us. We can organize a drive guide and 4×4 vehicle at a rate of 200 US Dollars per day
