The Cliff Camp Lake Nakuru National Park

The Cliff Camp Lake Nakuru National Park is a high-end luxury tented camp that sits in one of the most spectacular Kenya safari locations in Lake Nakuru National Park, with its position atop a 100-meter high rock face.

The Cliff is a stunning tented camp surrounded by nature and offers 10 beautifully appointed tented suites. The Cliff Nakuru has located 155 km from Nairobi and 5 km from Nakuru town, making it incredibly easy to reach by car.  From the capital, you’re looking at a drive that takes roughly 3,5 hours.

A fusion of the elegance of Europe and the wild of Africa, each suite features a king-size bed, a viewing deck to gaze at sensational 180-degree views of Lake Nakuru, a private lounge, and a freestanding bathtub and shower.

Game Drives: It certainly would be easy enough to spend the day gazing across Lake Nakuru, but there are plenty of activities on the go to keep you occupied. Early morning and late afternoon 4×4 game drives run daily like clockwork. These drives, in open-sided Land Cruisers, are led by expert guides who will help you locate a variety of wildlife, such as leopard, lion, buffalo, hippo, rhino, and giraffe.  

Birds: A bird-watchers paradise, The Cliff Nakuru is a first-class location for those looking to top up their bird-sighting list. Whether out on game drives or simply relaxing back at the lodge, be sure to keep a keen eye on the sky or water. There are 450 species recorded in this region, which includes some of those infamous flamingos. The park offers excellent bird watching throughout the year.

Views: The Cliff Nakuru is perched atop a 100-meter-high rock face, guaranteeing endless views of the park. You’re in for a real treat with sundowners by the infinity pool or bar area as the sun sets over Lake Nakuru. At the same time, we highly recommend tucking into intricately prepared meals made from the freshest farm-to-fork ingredients at the on-site restaurant.

We also suggest you make a point of heading to Baboon Cliff, a popular viewpoint and one-time lunch spot for some of the most exquisite views out over the lake.
