Elewana Tortilis Camp is named after the flat-topped, umbrella thorn tree, the Acacia Tortilis, and is situated in one of Amboseli’s areas of Acacia Tortilis woodland, with the majestic backdrop of Africa’s highest mountain, and the World’s highest free-standing mountain, snow-capped Kilimanjaro.

Game drives walks, sundowners and bush meals take place both inside the park and within a private 30,000-acre game concession.

Elewana Tortilis Camp tents are all large and spacious, with king or twin beds, and elegant en suite bathrooms. There is a main lounge, bar and dining area, all exquisitely built with natural materials and thatched roofs, with magnificent views of Kilimanjaro.

Fly from Nairobi Wilson Airport straight into Amboseli National Park (35 minutes). On arrival, you will be transferred (30 mins) to Elewana Tortilis Camp. Evening game drive for a first view of the wildlife species for which Amboseli National Park is famous.

Day 2: Explore Amboseli National Park

A full day in the Amboseli National Park with a morning game drive followed by lunch at Elewana Tortilis Safari Camp and then an evening game drive.

Day 3: Amboseli – Fly to Nairobi

An early morning game drive followed by breakfast at Elewana Tortilis Safari Camp and then transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Wilson Airport, Nairobi.
