Amani Mara Camp

Amani Mara Camp is a small and exclusive luxury safari camp located in Olare Orok Conservancy on the banks of the Ntiak river, 5 km northeast of the Masai Mara National Game Reserve and about 20 minutes drive from Ol Kiombo Airstrip.

The camp is approximately 6 hour’s drive from Nairobi and flying time takes about 45 minutes. Ol Kiombo and Musiara are the closest airstrips to the camp. Strategically perched, this beautiful haven promises you spectacular views of the diverse game from the herds of wildebeests and zebras to the roaring pride of lions and cheetahs.

Amani Mara Camp has beautifully designed rooms with 13 single rooms and 1 family room. The rooms are well furnished with an African feel, soothing whites, and earthy tones, creating a warm ambiance.

They feature handcrafted king-size beds, wardrobes, dressers, a work desk, and a private deck enabling amazing views of the wildlife over the landscape. The rooms are en suite with bathrooms and a hot shower facility is available throughout the day. Laundry services are available on request.

There is a personal butler and a fully stocked bar that serves a variety of imported wines, spirits, and beverages. The chefs use freshly grown local produce to prepare a blend of both local and international cuisine.

The dining room offers a scenic view of the game meandering over the vast plains with sights of the resident hippos and crocodiles at the river all through the day. Picnic lunches and bush dinners are available on request.

The main seating area has ample space for guests to relax. Equipped with a fireplace, the lounge provides guests with an intimate atmosphere for the evenings. There is also a small library for guests to browse through books and magazines.

The beautifully carved swimming pool and spa are rejuvenating and refreshing with excellent unobstructed views of the river and plains beyond.

Maasai Mara offers one of the world’s most spectacular natural events, “The Annual Migration” an experience of a lifetime to capture the stunning images of the wildlife in its full glory displaying the ‘survival of the fittest’ phenomenon.

Amani Mara Camp Activities include; day game drives, village visits, bush dinners, night game drives, hot-air balloon rides guided walks, and community visits.
