Duma Camp Masai Mara

Mara Duma Bush Camp is a charming Eco-community camp situated right on the banks of the Talek river, seconds from Talek Gate in the northwest corner of the Maasai Mara Reserve. 

The camp can be reached either by road or by air. The distance from Nairobi to Masai Mara is approximately 280 km. It takes around 5-6 hours by road while flying time takes approximately 45 minutes.  The camp is situated 6 km from Hippo Pool Viewpoint.

Mara Duma Bush Camp is a balance between nature and luxury. The rooms are very spacious and designed keeping this in mind. The Camp consists of 5 luxury double tents, all with en-suite bathrooms with flush toilets and large comfortable beds.

Each tent has a cloth rack, solar lighting, and a balcony offering views of a waterhole where you may witness an array of animals drinking water. The camp provides free WiFi in public areas and dry cleaning/laundry services.

This intimate camp is simple in design but has all the guest’s essentials, plus a view over a large plain, teeming with wildlife, and is surrounded by Kenya’s best game viewing areas

Mara Duma Bush Camp has a canvas dining tent with an assortment of delicious wines, meals are also often enjoyed al fresco beneath the pristine African skies and around the roaring fire.

The restaurant, Mara Duma, serves local and international cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Free English breakfast is available daily between 5:00 AM and 8:30 AM.

The Masai Mara is regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing areas. The annual wildebeest migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November.

Wildlife -Nowhere in Africa is more wildlife abundant. The Mara is known as one of the finest wildlife destinations in the world, with an excellent chance of seeing the big five, cheetah, serval, hyena, bat-eared foxes, black-backed and side-striped jackals, hippo, crocodile, baboons, warthog, topi, eland, Thompson’s gazelle, Grant’s gazelle, impala, waterbuck, oribi, reed-buck and zebra.

Mara Duma Bush Camp activities include; night game drives, day game drives, balloon safaris, and cultural visits to the local Maasai village.
