Eliye Springs Resort also known as The Jewel on Lake Turkana, is a beach resort located on the Western shores of Lake Turkana, 65 km from Lodwar town, Northern Kenya. The resort is 350 km, an 8-hour drive from Nairobi. Schedule flights from Nairobi, Eldoret, and Kitale land at Lodwar Airstrip, while Charter flights land directly at Eliye Airstrip.

Eliye Springs Resort has different types of accommodation: Luxury Bomas, self-contained rooms, and a campsite with Manyattas and Star-tents.
Luxury Bomas – This is luxurious, and well equipped with double/ twin beds, chairs, tables, sun chairs, and a tiled spacious bathroom and a fence around them. Bomas and fences are constructed in the traditional Turkana style, with a veranda facing the Lake.
The Self-contained rooms – There are 4 rooms in total with 2 double beds each. The rooms are simple but spacious, especially for families with children. Every room has a tiled bathroom and is fitted with electricity (during generator hours). All the rooms are close to the Restaurant.
Campsite with Manyattas and Star-tents – There are 8 Manyattas (Manyattas are common Turkana huts) with one bed each, a Beach view, Mosquito Net, and shared showers and toilets. TV room and Pool table nearby.
The resort has a campsite where guests can pitch tents. There are 2 types of tents; one is the common doom type and the other type, “the Star tent” which is basically a mosquito net over your bedding. The advantage of this type of tent is the fresh air and the free sight of the night sky.
The on-site restaurant offers delicious continental and local dishes while the fully stocked bar serves a variety of alcoholic drinks like white and red wines, beers, spirits, and cocktails. Guests can also be served espresso and cappuccino in the coffee bar.
Guests can relax and enjoy full body massage in the open-air “massage saloon”. There are Swiss Gymnastic balls where guests relax their bodies through the exercises with the balls. The resort also offers a natural spa with thermal waters from the springs.
Eliye Springs Resort Activities Include boat rides, Wildlife, fishing, bird watching, Samburu village visits, beach volleyball, Turkana Donkey Trekking, darts, pool table, bush dinners, beach dinners, and even visiting the pre-historic sites.
