Kigoma Hilltop Hotel Tanzania is a 4-star hotel set just outside the busy town of Kigoma, overlooking Lake Tanganyika. The hotel is located 15 minutes from Kigoma Airport, and 5 minutes from Ujiji Town. The nearest airport is Kigoma Airport in Kigoma Town about 20 minutes drive to the lodge.

The scenic town of Kigoma is the largest town on Lake Tanganyika and the gateway to Tanzania’s Western Parks such as Gombe Stream and the Mahale Mountains. The town is also famous for its high-quality Daaga fish, which is sold locally and exported to neighboring counties, as well as for its palm oil. No tour of Kigoma is complete without a visit to the Katonga Fishing Village where you can discover more about the life of the local people, which has changed little over the centuries.

Kigoma Hilltop Hotel is a 30 cottage-style rooms, decorated in an old-world colonial style, Every room offers a view of Lake Tanganyika from its private balcony. Kigoma Hilltop rooms have a/c, en suite bathrooms, hot and cold running water, satellite television, and refrigerators in the living room and bedroom.

The rooms are comfortable enough, spacious, and clean. Other hotel facilities include; a swimming pool facing the lake, a well-equipped gym, Tennis courts, Table tennis, a Pool table, a private beach, a restaurant, and conference venues.

The Sangara Restaurant at Kigoma Hilltop Hotel offers a la carte meals for hotel guests and visitors. Both light and full meals are offered while buffet menus can be prepared on request. Kigoma Hilltop Hotel has 2 conference venues – The first venue hosts up to 55 delegates while the second venue hosts up to 150 delegates.

The venues are air-conditioned and include an overhead projector, flip chart, marker pens, note pads and pens, 2 x 500ml water, sweets on the table, and morning and afternoon tea in the restaurant. Buffet lunches and dinners can be arranged as well.
