Nyota Mara Lodge

Nyota Mara Lodge is situated in Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya. Accommodation comprises six semi-luxury tents that can accommodate up to four guests, fitted with a private terrace, king-size bed, bath, and shower, and two types of unusual housing – the Bubble Tent and the Masai Boma.

The Bubble Tent, which sleeps two, is ideal for a night under the stars, looking out over the Mara River, boasting a private terrace, king-size bed, bath, and shower, with the option of sleeping indoors. The Masai Boma, a live-in traditional hut that sleeps two, allows guests to have an authentic African experience.

Nyota Mara Lodge offers 7 forms of accommodation with complimentary bottles of water. Rooms open to balconies or patios. Bathrooms include a separate bath and shower with a deep soaking bath and complimentary toiletries.

Guests have the option of booking a private 4×4 Land Cruiser for safaris. Nyota Mara Lodge offers a one-hour bushwalk, game drives, and night drives, accompanied by a game ranger to ensure guests’ safety.

The bar keeps the lodge’s African feel, and the terrace overlooks a hippo pool. The restaurant uses only fresh, locally-sourced ingredients and opens out onto the savannah. A nightly turndown service is provided and housekeeping is offered daily.

The fully stocked bar serves a variety of alcohol and soft drinks and guest may enjoy the drinks around the campfire at night. There is also a shared kitchen, equipped with a dishwasher and minibar.

Wildlife – Nowhere in Africa is more wildlife abundant. The Mara is known as one of the finest wildlife destinations in the world, with an excellent chance of seeing the big five, cheetah, serval, hyena, bat-eared foxes, black-backed and side-striped jackals, hippo, crocodile, baboons, warthog, topi, eland, Thompson’s gazelle, Grant’s gazelle, impala, waterbuck, etc.

Nyota Mara Lodge activities include; game drives, hot air balloon safaris, guided nature walks, and cultural walks, cultural dances, outdoor meals on request, and Maasai village visits. Guests can enjoy sundowners around the campfire.
