PrideInn Mara Camp Masai Mara Game Reserve

PrideInn Mara Camp Masai Mara Game Reserve is a luxury safari lodge located at the banks of the scenic Talek River, at the edge of the Masai Mara National Park. The camp can be reached either by road or by air. The distance from Nairobi to Masai Mara is approximately 280 km.  It takes around 5-6 hours by road while flying time takes about 45 minutes. The camp is a 40-minute drive from both the Ol Kiombo Airstrip and the Keekorok Airstrip. PrideInn Mara Camp boasts 31 spacious and tastefully designed river-view cottages and tents.

The 15 spacious, luxurious safari tents are nestled under canvas, each with a private verandah, en-suite bathroom, flush toilet, and solar-heated safari showers. In addition to Cottages & Tents, PrideInn Mara Camp has stylish indoor and outdoor decks, a crystal clear outdoor swimming pool, and a large organic garden.

PrideInn Mara Camp activities include a hot air balloon over the Masai Mara, game drives, wildebeest migration between July and October, enjoy Cultural visits with the Masai, a visit to the Mara River, guided nature walks, birdwatching with 470 birds to find, day trips to Mfangano Island or Rusinga Island in Lake Victoria, and Horseback riding.

PrideInn Mara Camp Masai Mara Game Reserve consists of 16 luxury cottages and 14 luxury tented camps spread across 25 acres of land. Each cottage is approximately 1000 sqft. The deluxe cottages are fabulous for couples, friends, or family.

One of the best things about the camp is that each of the cottages has luxury indoor showers, and bathtubs and each of the tents has outdoor showers, the interior has been carefully selected to ensure Bushfield is maintained and comfortable given to our customers.

In addition, the camp includes conference space as it attempts to increase revenue by focusing on meetings, incentive travel, conventions, and exhibitions (MICE). Another offering within the camp is the Koroga concept which allows guests to cook their food if interested. 

Activities available at PrideInn Mara Camp include; day game drives, nature walks, hot air balloons, village visits, night game drives, bush picnics, lectures from local Maasai, bird watching, and walking safaris.

On safari in the Masai Mara, you can expect to see the Big 5, lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and more. There are thousands of antelope from tiny dik-diks to gazelles and eland intermingle with zebra, wildebeest, and other large herbivores like giraffes, buffalo, and elephants.

There are large pride of lions, cheetahs, and leopards as well as spotted hyenas and jackals. For avid birders, the Masai Mara is home to around 450 resident species including large terrestrial species like ostriches and kori bustards, almost 60 species of raptors including the impressive bateleur, long-crested eagle and vultures as well as a plethora of smaller colorful and diverse species like lilac breasted rollers and violet-backed starlings.
