Masai Mara National Reserve

This 4-day Maasai Mara Game Reserve safari is an action-packed short road Safari from Nairobi to Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Reserve, one of Africa’s best game viewing destinations! An affordable scenic and African wildlife treat!

This wildlife safari journeys from Nairobi to the beautiful Masai Mara, via the incredibly scenic Great Rift Valley. Arriving at Masai Mara Park we have lunch and embark on a late afternoon game drive.

We spend the whole of day two and day three on game drives in search of the wildlife that makes this one of Africa’s premier safari destinations. Having experienced the Masai Mara’s stunning landscapes and rich wildlife, this short safari returns to Nairobi on day four.

The world-renowned Masai Mara National Park is Kenya’s flagship park. With sweeping plains that seem to stretch to the end of the world, abundant wildlife – including the Big Five – and the breathtaking annual Great Migration, the Masai Mara is a dream safari destination.

The Masai Mara is situated in the Great Rift Valley in southwestern Kenya. It covers over 1 500 km2. The southern part of the park forms part of the border with Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park. This border is unfenced, allowing the animals to roam freely and ensuring that the Great Migration is not hindered.

Masai Mara has healthy populations of all five – lion, elephant, Cape Buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros. It is not unheard of to manage to spot all five on a good day out in the park. Others include lion, cheetah, hippos, crocodiles, wildebeest, zebra, plains game, giraffe, and various antelope species.

With over 450 species of bird in the Masai Mara, this is a birdwatcher’s paradise. Activities in Masai Mara include Game drives/ Game Viewing, Nature walks, Balloon Safaris, picnics, Cultural Tours, Horseback Safaris, Seeing the Wildebeest, and Migration.
